Employers are required to pay contributions in accordance with the relevant award or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
Employer contributions in respect of CIRT and JETCO are due to be paid by the 20th day of each month and are payable in arrears i.e. the January contribution is due by the 20th of February.
Employers are required to submit contributions via the CIRT Employer Online Portal. Each submission must include a detailed breakdown to allow the administrator to allocate the contribution to each employee correctly.
If an employer is unable to submit contributions via the Employer Online Portal, the employer may send a spreadsheet to CIRT directly. Please contact CIRT for further information on required information before using this option to remit contributions.
Payment of CIRT and JETCO contributions should be paid in the CIRT clearing trust account. Please contact the administrator on 1300 200 123 for the details.
